Have you seen this? - a tip for you!

So, I'm not a spokesperson for this website or anything - truth be known, they probably have no idea I exist! LOL 

But I wanted to share with you this really cool site I've found!  Sparkpeople.com is a great way of tracking your calorie intake, fitness routines, fitness goals, and much more.  I've been able to read articles about issues I'm dealing with, connect with people on their message boards - it's just great!

One of the coolest things is that when you start using it, you get points for nearly everything you do that's fitness-related, or sparkpeople.com related.  I didn't realize how competitive I was till I started racking those points up!  Guess we can blame the video game generation...

The part my husband likes best is that it's FREE! :-)

  1. I use an app called Loseit on my Nook tablet. It really keeps me in check with my calories. Ive used sparkpeople in the past when I wasnt serious about losing weight. Will have to look and see if there is an app on my nook. LOL
    The doctor put me on high blood pressure meds in December and it was a real eye opener for me. My original goal was to lose 20 when I go back this month for my 3-month recheck. But so far Ive already lost 21 lbs. I told Scott I didnt want chocolate for Valentines day instead I wanted a membership to a gym, and thats what I got. I love it, it's 5 minutes from the house and all women.
